CONGO TRIP route: (San José - Arenal - Río Celeste - Monteverde - Sámara)
Arrival in Costa Rica Day 1
Welcome to the land of Pura Vida for the beginning of a very beautiful adventure! On arrival, our driver will take you to your hotel to relax by the pool after a long trip.
Poás Volcano Day 2
After the delivery of your vehicle, you will go to the discovery of the Poas volcano. If the clouds are not capricious, you can observe the pretty lake in the middle of the crater. You will then take the direction of La Fortuna to spend the night.
Chocolate Tour and Hotsprings in Arenal Day 3
This third day in Costa Rica will introduce you to a cacao plantation and the chocolate making process. You will also have the opportunity to enjoy the thermal waters of the Arenal Volcano region.
La Fortuna Waterfall & Finca Verde Day 4
You will enjoy the morning to discover the beautiful La Fortuna Waterfall. It is possible to swim there. After this morning walk, you will take the road to Bijagua in search of one of the emblematic animals of Costa Rica: the sloth.
Río Celeste Day 5
This morning will be dedicated to the visit of the Tenorio National Park famous for its turquoise river. Legend has it that when God finished creating the world, he washed his brushes in the Rio Celeste.
You will take the road to Monteverde in the afternoon.
Monteverde Day 6
The Monteverde region is known for it's tropical cloudforest, which is ideal for bird watching and lush flora.
The suspended bridges activity is included in your stay.
Sámara Beach Day 7
The small village of Samara famous for its sweetness of life will be the last stage of your stay. The Ocean Safari excursion will give you a glimpse of the country’s marine life on the Pacific coast. Depending on the season it is possible to observe dolphins, whales, turtles & tropical fish during snorkeling.
Departure Day 8
It is now time to return to San José. You will leave your vehicle with our service provider who will take you to the airport with, we hope, lots of beautiful memories.
